Sean Maloughney: Jujhar Khaira Is Out Of Time

If it's the end of his shift, the forward shouldn't be afraid of letting his D handle a 2 on 2 play, get the fresh legs on the ice. Russell turning away from his man giving Danault freedom to just breeze by him for the open rebound is the only erroneous play there, in my opinion. #4 was dead center on the TV screen when the second goal went in too. I haven't hated Russell as much as normal this year (probably due to Smith handling the puck for him half the time, and Tippett having better overall D structure in general, and only giving Russell 3rd line minutes), but at his price tag he is definitely still the top target to get off the team.

Remember when some on hear were calling him a top 6 forward?
Then we gave you Neal and he got bumped down the depth chart.

I could be wrong, butt it looks like someone was already over the boards for a change while Juju was coming up the ice, making a change necessary..

Jujhar is a bottom of the line up role player who: kills penalties, plays centre or wing, and makes less than 1m. What are you expecting from him exactly?

I expect the following of Khaira.

1) Grow a wicked beard.
2) Score a minimum of 5 goals.
3) Score a minimum of 10 assists.
4) Punch people in the face.
5) Never make more than 1.25 million.

He might accomplish all of the above this season. Maybe.

I feel like he would love to go to the Canucks based upon his history.

He always plays better on away games in Vancouver. Trade him for picks, and use those picks as sweetener at the trade deadline.

I think the Canucks have enough crappy players, so unless you’re taking a player back probably be stuck with him.

End of season - so mid July*, he will cut it with a Gränsfors himself (*just when boyz can hold a 3goal lead in a game7 3rd period).

Funny blog.

Jones makes a terrible pinch and comes out smelling like roses.

Kharia hasn't been good but anyone with a lick of sense takes him over Gagner every day and twice on Sunday.

You somehow manage to crap on Russell who is having a rather low event solid season for the Oilers.

Awesome.

Wow. The writing of this article is far WORSE than the stats and overall performance of the player it's talking about. Extreme exaggeration of the player's short comings; considering his overall playing time, role and expectations. Poor grammar and biased rambling.
